This album was made in 2006 after the Frequency Below debut album, Foundation. It was an experimental foray into the realm of electronic production with an emphasis on golden era hip hop and the feminine vocal-centric sister genre, trip hop. As the producer, I was free to do anything I could dreamed up. I was not limited to live drums or how it would be performed live. I specifically wanted to get away from the comfort zone of my guitar as a test against my skills. Working with just a MPC2000XL, Yamaha S80 keyboard, Boss Dr. Beat 202, and additional choice live instruments, I was able to craft a palpable combination of sounds and beats for collaboration with Caroline's voice and vocal approach. We went form downtempo, to dance, and indie to trap on this, one my favorite records of all.
